Sarcastic dating profiles

Example 1: Light-Hearted and Silly I may not be a supermodel, but at least I smell nice... When I'm not busy saving the world or just ‘being awesome', I spend my time working as a bartender and part-time chef.Cooking is one of my greatest passions in life and I dream of one day starting my own restaurant. These women don't state it like it's an occasional occurrence. I know we can all be sarcastic, but it's typically in the context of disagreement and/or annoyance of something specific at an occasional point in time. I agree with u that it's typically in the context of disagreement and/or annoyance of something specific at an occasional point in time. They're proud of their trait and some imply that's their main form of communication. From a girl's point of view, I find that sarcasm should not be listed as a hobby or interest lol., a 1967 movie with Paul Newman, this famous line is uttered several times: "What we've got here is (a) failure to communicate." The Gurus believe that's the main problem with most online dating profiles. The intent is good, but the lines of communication are faulty.

One of the mistakes men and women make in writing their dating profile is to end up describing themselves in a way that comes across as “trying too hard.” There are several ways in which a person can try too hard to come across as attractive to others. Yet some online profiles have the humor down to a logarithm: a joke or sarcastic statement every fourth sentence, and self-deprecating humor throughout.I don't see any intellingence in her humor and to me it's the opposite of humility or the capacity to laugh at ourself. But if that's the only type of humor she can use, that's bad.I've notice that it's also often used in most publicities when they want to sell something to women. So why do you think this type of humor is so popular these days and it's on so many women profiles I read? Actually sarcsm that goes OVER your head is the most Witty of all. I dislike humor that is a mask for negativity, although I will tolerate it in lets say a Russian, because thats their distinct kind. You are right though, most young girls especially love sarcasm and deprecating humour.Men are also welcome to express their thought on the subjet. A lot of women claim sarcasm and bluntness when they're actually just beetchy and mean spirited. You Canadians have a distinct humor, especially Jerry Lewis loving French ones lol that us Yankees don't get. If you don't like hers ,it won't last so might as well bail. I can live with it as long as they can take as well as they give.Nowhere is this better demonstrated than the following request that we see all the time: Of course, we exaggerate a bit. But even in its changed modern sense, sarcasm is a mighty powerful, black, and ugly quality.
